TikTok Timeless: Art Stories through videos

 

In this body of work, Laurence de Valmy uses the social media platform TikTok as a medium. She creates videos, published on TikTok in the name of famous artists such as Jean Michel Basquiat, Frida Kahlo or Georgia O'Keeffe to name a few.

Each video relates a moment in the life of the artists with extracts of music that they could have used in their time. The stories are part of the artwork.
